2010 FIFA World Cup will be the only official and exclusive video game of the competition and developers promise they've raised the bar again in terms of gameplay and graphics.
Available on all major formats from April, it will feature all 199 nations that tried to qualify for this June's Finals as well as all 10 of South Africa's tournament stadiums.
But for the first time, players will be able to play in their own online World Cup tournament, taking your tema all the way from qualifying right through to the final against other players from all over the world.
"The videogame will also have gameplay innovations that capture the journey from qualification to the final tournament, featuring home and away strategies for every nation, situational tactics in-game and altitude effects that fatigue players faster and even impact the flight of the ball," said EA Sports.
"Gamers will be able to play as their home nation from qualification right through to a virtual reproduction of the FIFA World Cup Final and feel what it is like to score the goal that lifts a nation.
"Everything fans love about the World Cup will come to life in spectacular detail, including confetti rain, streamers and fireworks."
